Yeah I know, horrid name... But I had a good snigger when I was taking this song singing Silver Bells.... But with the submission of balls for bells in my head. Whatever, Im in the christmas mode right now - everything is christmas!
----------------------------------------------------
So, this is my first shoot using my new reverse lens adaptor for my Canon.... I can definitely tell where it would be handy to have a real macro lens - especially with focusing - basically my focus is pretty massive (either major changes to the lens or moving my body back and forth). I took about 120 shots, of which three turned out well enough to post!
Anyways, all three of these macro shots were taken on christmas decorations! In the spirit of christmas, and were my own take on water droplet photography which, yet again, I have not done before!
This was taken on a glitter covered silver ball ornament for my tree, I had tried to get the water to stay on top of the ball, but in the matter of water it slid down the ball until there was only this one teensy tiny little droplet left on the bottom side. My fiance had a good laugh at me as I struggled almost in vain to position myself with my camera at the bottom end of this ball which sat on a piece of red fabric. In the end, this chance shot turned out pretty dang cool, you can even see the little reflection of the flash in the ball.
As always, comments, faves and critiques are appreciated!

Stunning. Nice warm colours. Good work!
